Do not drink water from the sink in Marrakech, always use bottled water to avoid diarrhea.

For this same reason it is wise to avoid drinking orange juice on the Djema el Fna square because it usually is mixed with water.

  • Essaouira, charming traditionnal city on the Atlantique ocean (approximately 3h drive)
  • The Ourika valley, refreshing excurssion along the river (approximately 1h drive)

Finally, don't forget to always negotiate prices when you go shopping in the Souks, it is an integrant part of the culture and the anouced price is never the final price expected by the seller.
